Black BoX THEATER

Our traditional black box theater space accommodates a wide range of creative projects for theater, readings, performance, video and photography, as well as classes and events.

Included in Black Box Rental:

  • 16-channel lighting rep plot and ETC Nomad Lighting Board & computer

  • 2 house speakers and mixer with one CD playback, and input for iPod/computer

  • Chairs / Tables

  • Private bathroom for artists

  • Tech booth

General Specs:​​

  • Dressing Room

  • Elevator Access

  • Free Wifi

  • 28' wide x 20' deep. There is an alcove in the center back of the stage that extends an additional 8 feet upstage. 

  • Seats 60 audience members. There are 50 permanent seats and a stage level row for an additional 10 folding chairs, provided by Access.

  • Maximum capacity is 74 persons (including cast/crew)

The Gallery

A traditional loft space. Accommodates a wide range of creative projects for theater, readings, performance, video and photography, as well as classes, auditions, project development and events.

Included in Gallery Rental:

  • 8 channel lighting with x/y board

  • 8-10 track moveable track lights

  • Basic P/A system: 1-2 house speakers and mixer with input for ipod/computer

  • Chairs / Tables

  • Wooden black platforms to create audience levels

  • Bathroom and kitchen

  • Duvetyne curtains for the windows to block out the light, available upon request

  • 52' x 28' feet

  • Elevator Access
